About Us
After serving on leadership at Immanuel Christian
Church for 3 years, Bazil and Simone and family relocated to Salt Rock from the
Umhlanga Rocks community to plant a new church in March 2009. We were sent out
with resources, a wonderful team of people and finances, to set us up.
In line with a prophetic word (God will send you to a
place, and speak to you about a man, who will lay hands on you and everything
will be different) I went to the Glory and Grace conference in Hong Kong with
Rob and Glenda Rufus & Fini and Isi De Gersigny that March. The prophesy
was fulfilled! I personally received revelation about the grace and goodness of
our Heavenly Father and I can say that everything has been different.
It has been a breathtaking adventure knowing Dad is so
pleased with me all the time and very exciting to share the amazing good news
(gospel) of the Happy God (1 Tim 1:11) with everyone who wants to hear.
We have experienced increasing measures of His
beautiful, life changing Presence, not only in our own lives but in the lives
of the wonderful people He has placed in our care. We can truly say ' Look what
God has done!' and are very excited about the 'hope and future' that being in
Jesus offers.
Our church/ community continues to grow in the grace
and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus (2 Pet 3:18)
"For freedom Christ has set us free" Gal 5:1
- We love Jesus - and are amazed at the glorious freedom
He has brought us into and His unending goodness towards us
- We love the Holy Spirit - His Presence, His power
- We welcome the Father's Glory - and are seeing
increasing measures of His manifest Presence among us
We believe:
- God is The Happy God (1 Tim 1:11) and He loves
us tremendously and is pleased with us all the time.
- In His Goodness and Love and Mercy, He dealt with all
our sin, removing it from us as far as East is from the West. (Ps 103:12/
Zech 3:9)
- We are the righteousness of God (in Christ) and that
we receive the free gift of righteousness by faith. It is not our own
righteousness, but it has been provided for us by Jesus perfect obedience on
our behalf. It is received by faith. (2 Cor 5:21/ Rom 5:17/ Phil 3:9)
- We need not work to please God anymore, because He is
totally pleased and satisfied with us. We can now enter into the Hebrews 4 rest
that was promised to us.
- We believe in the new creation (John 3:3). We
have been given a new nature and all good works are a fruit of our faith in the
finished work of Jesus on the cross. (2 Cor 5:17/ Gal 6:15)
- There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ
and this is not dependent on our works (outward behavior) (Rom 8:1)
- We are more than conquerors in this life because of
what has been freely given to us. (Rom 8:37; 2 Peter1:3-4)
- A tree bears fruit after its own kind - We are in
Christ and bear fruit accordingly - This fruit grows effortlessly and requires
no work. (1 John 5:18; John 15:5)
- God has given gifts to the church for her growth and
maturity. Leadership is for the purpose of bringing revelation, strengthening
and encouragement and keeping believers free (For freedom Christ has set us
free Gal 5:1)
- Apostles and prophets are gifts to the church and we
seek and maintain relationship and friendship with these gifts outside our
local church.
- Jesus is the Head of the church! (not any man)
We worship extravagantly!
Our testimony is "look what God has done!”
